BRAVO MEDIA'S EMMY-WINNING "INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO" IS "BREAKING BAD" WITH AWARD-WINNING ACTOR BRYAN CRANSTON ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25 AT 8PM ET/PT

NEW YORK - November 12, 2015 -Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning "Inside the Actors Studio," hosted by James Lipton, welcomes critically acclaimed thespian Bryan Cranston to the stage on Wednesday, November 25 at 8pm ET/PT. Host Lipton sits down with the four-time Emmy-winner in light of his titular role in the new biographical drama film, "Trumbo," where Cranston plays Dalton Trumbo, a top Hollywood screenwriter who was blacklisted for political reasons. Through the episode, Cranston intimately recalls his early days, including a defining moment in his childhood when he went from an outgoing and happy youth to a recluse after his father left his family. He carefully navigates some of his most well-known roles and the challenges that came along with them, including how he shaped his quirky paternal character, Hal, in "Malcom in the Middle," and how he drew inspiration from his own broken father when creating his vision for the iconic character of Walter White. Viewers will also be heartened to learn of the actor's powerful thoughts while shooting one of the most pivotal scenes from "Breaking Bad," as well as what Cranston believes to be Walter's ultimate "truth." "Bryan Cranston's astonishing record of roles and awards speaks for itself," said James Lipton. "And on our 'Inside the Actors Studio' stage, Bryan spoke for himself, eloquently, movingly, wisely and unforgettably."

In addition to four Primetime Emmy wins, Cranston's multi-faceted career has been recognized with three Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Golden Globe Award and a Tony Award. He holds the honor of being the first actor in a cable series and the second lead actor in Emmy history to mark three consecutive wins for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his memorable portrayal of Walter White in AMC's "Breaking Bad" (2008-2010). Cranston has also found success behind the camera as a director, writer and producer earning three Directors Guild Award nominations and a Producers Guild of America Award.

QUOTABLES FROM THE EPISODE:

"... I had an epiphany at that moment, and I was 22 years old, and I said, 'Okay, I'm going to become an actor, this is what I'm going to do with my life... sink or swim, I'm all in.' - Cranston on his decision to become an actor

"... they were rooting for him to cook crystal meth." - Cranston on the audience's view of Walter White

"I love this movie; it's an important film, not just in our industry. It's a cautionary tale, that this kind of behavior cannot work, should not work, and if you sense it, you need to stand up and voice your opinion." - Cranston on the film 'Trumbo'

"But when I was 22... I had no dream that I would be here. I was standing behind the door, and I heard James talking about my introduction. I said [to myself], 'How many times have I heard this on television with other actors for the years I've been watching the show?' ... and now I'm coming through the door!" - Cranston on appearing on 'Inside the Actors Studio'
