"SNL" Closes Out 2015 with Three Back-to-Back Shows

"SNL" CLOSES OUT 2015 WITH THREE BACK-TO-BACK SHOWS

Dec. 5 - Ryan Gosling/ Leon Bridges

Dec. 12 - Chris Hemsworth/ Chance The Rapper

Dec. 19 - Tina Fey & Amy Poehler/ Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

NEW YORK - Nov. 17, 2015 - "SNL" closes out December with three back-to-back shows starting Dec. 5 with Ryan Gosling and musical guest Leon Bridges. Gosling will make his "SNL" debut and can next be seen in the feature film "The Big Short," due Dec. 23. R&B artist and singer/songwriter Leon Bridges will also make his "SNL" first musical guest appearance. His critically acclaimed debut album, "Coming Home," reached the top 10 in the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

On Dec. 12, Chris Hemsworth will return for his second time as host. Hemsworth will next star in "In the Heart of the Sea," which will be in theaters Dec. 11. Chance The Rapper will make his musical guest debut after wrapping up a national tour and releasing his latest single, "Angels," for free on iTunes.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to studio 8H to co-host "SNL" on Dec. 19. Poehler and Fey will star in the upcoming comedy "Sisters," which will be released in theaters Dec. 18. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform, marking Springsteen's third appearance on the show. Springsteen's Dec. 4 release, the box set "The Ties That Bind: The River Collection," contains a wealth of unreleased music and concert footage.
