BLAKE SHELTON AND ELLIE GOULDING TO PERFORM ON MONDAY, DEC. 7 LIVE TELECAST OF "THE VOICE"

Shelton Will Sing "Gonna" While Goulding to Perform "On My Mind" as the Emmy Award-Winning Series Ramps Up as the Season Winds Down

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Nov. 30, 2015 - Coach Blake Shelton and international recording artist Ellie Goulding are set to perform on the Monday, Dec. 7 live telecast on NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."

Shelton will sing his current and Top 5 hit single "Gonna" from his album "Bringing Back the Sunshine." Upon its release, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Album chart and the Billboard Country Album chart. "Gonna" is also a bonus track on "Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits," which was released in October.

Goulding, an adviser on "The Voice" during the seventh season, will sing "On My Mind" from her new album, "Delirium." The single is currently charting Top 10 on Top 40 radio.

Shelton has earned the incredible accomplishment of being the coach for four champions over the show's eight completed seasons, with the ninth season currently underway. Season-seven winner Craig Wayne Boyd follows in the footsteps of past victors Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope and Jermaine Paul.

Among his many awards, Shelton is the reigning five-time Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year and an Entertainer of the Year winner. His most recent album, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and country albums chart. "Sunshine" has already yielded the hit singles "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight," featuring Ashley Monroe, and "Sangria," which became Shelton's 20th #1 single.

Since the release of her debut "Lights" in 2010 and "Halcyon" in 2012, Cherrytree/Interscope recording artist Ellie Goulding has sold more than 6 million albums and 27 million singles worldwide, scored six consecutive platinum singles in the U.S., won two Brit Awards, and has video views and streams both in excess of 1 billion. This year's "Love Me Like You Do" was a worldwide No. 1 single, hitting the top spot in 70 countries.

Goulding recently released her third album, "Delirium," to rave reviews. Rolling Stone notes, "The British pop singer with the one-of-a-kind voice soars high" and Time calls "Delirium" "infectious... one dance-floor banger after another." New York magazine raves, "Her new album of sleek, soulful pop is sure to make her a household name Stateside."

Goulding, who has performed at the world's biggest festivals, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Outside Lands, embarks on her "Delirium" world tour in 2016.

So far this season, the Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice" are averaging a 3.7 rating, 12 share in adults 18-49 and 13.3 million viewers overall, according to "most current" results from Nielsen Media Research through the season's opening nine weeks, to lead NBC to #1 ranking among the broadcast networks on both Monday and Tuesday nights. "The Voice" is television's #1 alternative series this fall in every key ratings measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

"The Voice" is a presentation of United Artists Media Group (an MGM company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Lee Metzger and Jay Bienstock.
