VH1 IS PROUD TO AIR THE FIRST TRANSGENDER PERSON TO WED ON REALITY TELEVISION IN THE "COUPLE'S THERAPY WITH DR. JENN" SEASON FINALE PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th AT 10PM ET/PT

Model & Actress Carmen Carrera & Adrian Torres Celebrate Their Dream Wedding Officiated by Dr. Jenn Mann and Witnessed by Fellow Cast Members Angela "Big Ang" Murphy & Neil Murphy, Scott Stapp & Jaclyn Stapp, Janice Dickinson & Robert "Rocky" Gerner, Joe Budden & Kaylin Garcia

SANTA MONICA, CA - December 7, 2015 - VH1's series "Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn" closes its sixth season of conflicts, reconciliations, and shockers in the exciting finale airing Wednesday, December 9th at 10PM ET/PT. Dr. Jenn and all five couples excitedly prepare for the first-ever televised wedding of a transgender person featuring Carmen Carrera and Adrian Torres' recommitment of vows. Amidst communication issues and bridesmaid drama, the whole gang pulls together just in time for this historical celebration of love.

In the season finale of Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn, the group discusses what they've learned and lay down the deal-breakers for their relationships. And despite a run of chaos in the house, Carmen realizes a childhood dream when Adrian finally gives her the wedding she's always wanted.

With the pressure of living in the spotlight and constantly having their relationships scrutinized by the media, "VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn" continues to shed light on the complicated and often misunderstood world of high-profile relationships.

In season six of "VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn," each couple faced unique problems - some of their issues center on having every detail of their relationship in the public eye and blown out of proportion. This season's couples who spent time on the couch with Dr. Jenn Mann were: "Mob Wives" fan-favorite Angela "Big Ang" Murphy & Neil Murphy, Creed's front man Scott Stapp & Jaclyn Stapp, "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant Carmen Carrera & Adrian Torres, model/ TV personality Janice Dickinson & Robert "Rocky" Gerner, and hip-hop star Joe Budden & Kaylin Garcia.

From the producers of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," "VH1 Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn" features five couples at a crossroads in their relationships as they undergo three weeks of intensive relationship therapy. Under the guidance of Dr. Jenn Mann, a nationally renowned relationship therapist, the couples will participate in group and individual therapy along with relationship exercises out in the "real world" to see if they can rekindle the love they used to have for one another -- or if it's time for them to go their separate ways
