Celebrate Black History Month with @TVOneTV short films and new series and specials. #TVOneRepresents Black Culture.

"In 2016 and moving forward, it is very important we represent our viewers in all that we do. This includes providing them with entertaining and inspirational programming during Black History Month," said Brad Siegel, President of TV One. "However, we feel it is even more important to pay tribute to those unsung champions who are making history in their communities each and every day. To honor this commitment, we are proud to launch our first-ever short films, Change Agents: History in the Making."

TV One's Change Agents: History in the Making short films will spotlight current day achievers and change agents from college campuses, the community, corporate America, government, technology, medicine, and beyond, who are making changes in the African American community and making history. Each filmmaker will do a thematic series of 5-6 short films showcasing unexpected and inspirational stories of often unknown and unrecognized individuals: "Becoming the Change" (Alton Glass), "Social Media Movement" (Jeanine Daniels), "Without Words" (P. Frank Williams) and "Turn Up Black History" (Che "Rhymefest" Smith).

Change Agents: History in the Making will premiere every weeknight on TV One at 10 p.m. ET, beginning Monday, Feb. 1. The short films will also encore every weekend and a longer version (up to two-and-a-half minutes) will be posted on www.tvone.tv/changeagents.

TV One is also airing an impressive programming slate of original series and specials during Black History Month reflecting and representing Black Culture, including new seasons of its signature series Unsung (Feb. 10, 8 p.m. ET), true crime series Fatal Attraction (Feb. 1, 9 p.m. ET) and Justice By Any Means (Feb. 1, 10 p.m. ET), comedy hit Born Again Virgin (Feb. 9, 8:30 p.m. ET), and News One Now (Monday-Friday, 7-8 a.m. ET), the only daily news program focusing explicitly on the African American perspective.
