NEW YORK, February 1, 2016 - "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" adds Franchesca Ramsey to its roster of contributors with her first appearance on the show tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, it was announced today by Larry Wilmore, Executive Producer, Writer and Host of the program. Ramsey joins the talented roster of current "Nightly Show" contributors, which includes Rory Albanese, Jordan Carlos, Grace Parra, Robin Thede, Ricky Velez, Holly Walker and Mike Yard. Ramsey will also be a writer on the series.

"We're very excited to have Franchesca and her tremendous skill set join the show. We were just going to hire her skill set, but we agreed to hire her as well. So it's a win-win," said Wilmore.

Franchesca Ramsey (@chescaleigh) is a New York City based writer, actress, video blogger and host of the MTV web series "Decoded." Known to many online fans as Chescaleigh, Ramsey created her first viral video, "Sh*t White Girls Say... to Black Girls," in January of 2012. It garnered more than 1.5 million views in 24 hours, 5 million views in just 5 days, currently has 11 million views and has been featured on MSNBC, ABC, The Daily Mail and "Anderson Cooper Live," to name a few.

Ramsey's two YouTube channels have more than 250,000 subscribers combined and more than 26 million views. Her Chescaleigh YouTube comedy channel features a mix of song parodies, impersonations and original characters along with socially conscious and topical comedy sketches. Her Chescalocs YouTube channel focuses on beauty, natural hair care and styling. Ramsey and her videos have been featured on MTV, The New York Times, NPR, Ebony Magazine and BBC.

"The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" (Twitter and Facebook) provides viewers with Larry Wilmore's distinct point of view and comedic take on current events and pop culture. Hosted by Wilmore, the series features a diverse panel of voices, providing a perspective largely missing in the late-night television landscape. "The Nightly Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. and repeats at 2:00 a.m. the same night and at 9:00 a.m. the following day (all times ET/PT).
