TUNE-IN ANNOUNCEMENT:

OVATION TV CELEBRATES GRAMMY(R) WEEKEND WITH A SPECIAL EPISODE OF "ON THE RECORD WITH MICK ROCK" FEATURING 2016 NOMINEE MARK RONSON ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12 AT 10PM ET / 7PM PT

Three-time 2016 Grammy(R) nominee Mark Ronson (Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album) takes the legendary photographer Mick Rock on a tour of the Lower East Side of New York City, where his career as a DJ and producer first took off. Mark and Mick visit Rock and Soul, the premier DJ equipment store, before heading over to Berlin, a popular nightclub where Ronson first played his earliest gigs. The duo also check out Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios, where Ronson has recorded many of his tracks and where Mick decides to host an impromptu photoshoot.

Mick Rock (aka, "The Man Who Shot the Seventies") was 2016 Grammy(R) Tribute Recipient David Bowie's official photographer during his 1972-1973 tour. Today, Mick is as in-demand as ever; photographing legends-in-the-making like Snoop Dogg, Daft Punk, The Killers, Cee Lo Green, and the Black Keys, among many others.

On The Record With Mick Rock goes into musical artists' hometowns and the cities that inspire them to check out the sights and sounds. A unique spin on the musician profile series, the show's stripped-down style and Mick's unapologetic rapport with his guests produces candid conversations and musical performances not usually seen on television. Previous guests have included Josh Groban, Kings of Leon, the Flaming Lips, and Patti LaBelle.
