SPRING INTO LIFETIME'S LIMITED SERIES EVENT "DOCTOR FOSTER: A WOMAN SCORNED" AND NEW MOVIE, "JACK OF THE RED HEARTS," THIS APRIL

Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned

Premieres Sunday, April 10 at 9pm ET/PT

There's nothing sweeter than revenge in the Lifetime limited series event, Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned, a gripping psychological drama about a doctor who suspects her husband is having an affair. The three, two-hour episodes will air across three consecutive Sundays, beginning April 10.

The series centers on Doctor Gemma Foster (Suranne Jones, Scott & Bailey, Coronation Street), a loving wife, mother and trusted doctor whose seemingly perfect world is shattered when she suspects her husband Simon (Bertie Carvel, Les Miserables, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell) is having an affair. As the lies and betrayal come to light, she finds herself behaving in ways she could never have imagined. Determined to find out the truth, she thrusts herself into an all-consuming investigation only to reveal a deceitful pack of secrets that slowly unravel her life and the lives of those around her.

The series, which garnered rave reviews from both audiences and critics, premiered last October in the UK as the highest rated new drama of 2015 with an average of 8.2 million total viewers.

Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned is produced by Drama Republic. Olivier Award-winning playwright Mike Bartlett (King Charles III) is the creator and writer. Executive producers are Roanna Benn, Jude Liknaitzky, Mike Bartlett and Greg Brenman. Executive producer for the BBC is Matthew Read and directors are Tom Vaughan and Bruce Goodison. The deal was brokered by Caroline Stone, Vice President, Scripted Sales & Co-Productions for BBC Worldwide North America.

Jack of The Red Hearts

Starring AnnaSophia Robb, Famke Janssen and Sophia Anne Caruso

Premieres Sunday, April 23 at 8pm ET/PT

Named Bentonville's 2015 Grand Jury Film Festival Award Winner, Jack of The Red Hearts is the redemption story of streetwise teen, Jack (AnnaSophia Robb), who is on the run from her probation officer. Needing to lay low and earn money so she can rescue her younger sister from foster care, Jack cons her way into a suburban home as the live-in helper for the family's autistic daughter, Glory (Sophia Anne Caruso). Much to her surprise, Jack has a unique ability to connect with the nonverbal little girl. As she positively impacts Glory, the family begins to affect Jack, particularly Kay (Famke Janssen), Glory's overwhelmed and desperate mother who is thrilled with daughter's progress with Jack. But as the law catches up, the truth comes out, and Jack is forced to make a choice---to save herself, or help someone else.

Jack of The Red Hearts is produced by ARC Entertainment. Jenifer Deaton is the writer. Producers include Joey Carey, Lucy Mukerjee-Brown, Stefan Nowicki, Morgan White. The film is directed by Janet Grillo.
