BULL (CBS/CTS; W: Paul Attanasio & Phil McGraw; D: Rodrigo Garcia) - Jaime Lee Kirchner ("Mercy") has booked a key role on the Michael Weatherly-led drama pilot, based on Dr. Phil McGraw's early days as head of one of the most prolific trial consulting services of all time. She'll play Danny, "the team's investigator, a former FBI interrogator with a photographic memory." (Deadline.com)


CHAD: AN AMERICAN BOY (FOX/20th; W: Nasim Pedrad & Rob Rosell; D: Jason Winer) - Ariana Molkarahas has been cast in the single-camera comedy pilot, about a 14 year old boy (Nasim Pedrad) in the throes of adolescence who is tasked with being the man of the house, which leaves him with all the responsibilities of being an adult without any of the perks. She'll play Nikki, "Chad's little sister." (Deadline.com)


MIDNIGHT, TEXAS (NBC/Universal; W: Monica Owusu-Breen; D: Niels Arden Oplev) - Parisa Fitz-Henley and Yul Vazquez have both been cast in the drama pilot, a small screen take on the three-book series by Charlaine Harris, about Midnight, Texas, where the real world and the supernatural collide in a dangerous, sexy, place full of dark secrets and mysterious people. Fitz-Henley will play Fiji, "a quirky, funny, free spirit who marches to the beat of her own drum"; while Vazquez is set as Reverand, "a grizzled Mexican cowboy who always wears his Stetson boots. He presides over the wedding chapel and cemetery." (Deadline.com)


TAKEN (NBC/Universal; W: Alexander Cary; D: Alex Graves) - Simu Liu is the latest addition to the Peacock's prequel to the Liam Neeson-led film franchise, about a retired CIA operative on a one-man mission to save his kidnapped daughter which would follow a young Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) before he marries and has a daughter. He'll play Faaron, "a member of the team whose job it is to act quickly in support of the team on the ground." (Deadline.com)
