Crackle to Launch on Xfinity on Demand Beginning This Wednesday, April 20th

CRACKLE TO LAUNCH ON XFINITY ON DEMAND BEGINNING THIS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20th

Original Programming From Ad-Supported Streaming Network will be Available to Xfinity TV Customers Across Platforms

New York, April 18, 2016 - Crackle, Sony's ad-supported streaming network, today announced an April 20th launch of their original programming on Xfinity on Demand. Details of the initiative were announced in advance of Crackle's annual upfront presentation being held this Wednesday.

Crackle's first content deal with a cable distribution partner will make its slate of entertaining originals available to all Xfinity TV subscribers across platforms on Xfinity on Demand. Crackle's premium, original long-form content will be distributed for the first time as part of Comcast's cable service, via Xfinity on Demand in the home. It will also be available for TV Everywhere viewing with an Internet connection via the Xfinity TV app and website. Originals will include Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," animated series "SuperMansion" starring and executive produced by Bryan Cranston, scripted drama, "The Art of More" starring Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth, Cary Elwes and Christian Cooke, "Sports Jeopardy!" with Dan Patrick, JOE DIRT 2: BEAUTIFUL LOSER and many more. Select titles will launch this week, aligned with Xfinity's fourth annual TV-viewing event, Watchathon Week, which begins today. Official launch date is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 20th. Additional Crackle originals and licensed programming will be rolled out in the months ahead.
