COUNTRY SUPERSTAR THOMAS RHETT MAKES HIS TV DEBUT OF "T-SHIRT" ON TUESDAY, APRIL 26 TELECAST OF "THE VOICE"

Rhett's Second Album "Tangled Up" Winning Critical Raves and Drawing New Fans as Singles Hit #1 on Charts

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 25, 2016 - ACM winner Thomas Rhett will take the stage to perform, for the first time, his latest Top 15 single "T-Shirt" off his sophomore album "Tangled Up" (The Valory Music Co.) on the 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 telecast of NBC's two-time Emmy Award-winning competition series "The Voice."

"T-Shirt" follows two platinum back-to-back #1 hits off "Tangled Up," including the six-week #1 single "Die a Happy Man." The track recently reached its 17th frame atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and continues to be a top-selling digital hit. Proving he's a "package deal" ("CBS This Morning"), Rhett recently earned a Billboard Music Award nomination for Top Country Song for "Die a Happy Man," which also nabbed an ACM Award for Single Record of the Year earlier this month.

Produced by Dan Huff and Jesse Frasure, "Tangled Up" is filled with party anthems, dance tunes, drinking songs, love ballads, and everything in between - all tied together by a dynamic singer who's unafraid to blur the lines between genres. Rhett's sophomore album grabbed attention of music critics for his "bold song selections and borrowing choice trimmings from around the musical universe," said Rolling Stone.

So far this season, "The Voice" has averaged a 3.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 14.2 million viewers overall, according to "live plus seven day" averages from Nielsen Media Research. "The Voice" ranks #1 this season among alternative series in adults 18-49 and total viewers in "most current" results for its Monday edition and continues to lead NBC to regular nightlong wins on both Monday and Tuesday nights.

"The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Jay Bienstock, Lee Metzger and Chad Hines.
