Hulu Lands Exclusive U.S. SVOD Rights to BBC's "The Musketeers"

Third Season of the Series to Premiere in the U.S. Exlcusively on Hulu

Hulu has picked up the exclusive U.S. streaming video on-demand rights to all episodes of BBC's The Musketeers. The drama series comes to Hulu in a new deal with BBC Worldwide North America that will make Hulu the exclusive U.S. home to the entire series.

All episodes (seasons 1 - 3) of The Musketeers will be available to stream in the U.S. beginning this Saturday, May 14th only on Hulu. Through the deal, Hulu also becomes the only U.S. destination streaming the third season of the series.

BBC's The Musketeers, is set on the streets of seventeenth century Paris, where law and order is more of an idea than a reality. In addition to being King Louis XIII's personal bodyguards, Athos, Aramis and Porthos stand resolutely for social justice, honor, valor, love - and for the thrill of it. The series is created by Adrian Hodges (My Week With Marilyn, Primeval) with series three by Simon Allen (The Interceptor, New Tricks) and Simon Ashford (Jekyll and Hyde, Young Dracula). The Executive Producer across all 3 series is Jessica Pope (Burton and Taylor, Good Cop).

Luke Pasqualino (Skins, The Borgias) stars as D'Artagnan alongside Tom Burke (Great Expectations, The Hour) as Athos, Santiago Cabrera (Merlin, Heroes) as Aramis and Howard Charles (Royal Shakespeare Company) as Porthos. Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, The Hour, The Thick Of It), Maimie McCoy (Loving Miss Hatto), Tamla Kari (Cuckoo, The Inbetweeners Movie) and Hugo Speer (Bedlam) also star. Rupert Everett (Parade's End, Another Country) and Matthew McNulty (Jamaica Inn, The Mill) join the cast for the third season of the drama.

The Musketeers is made by BBC Drama Production Salford for BBC One and co-produced by BBC Worldwide.
