OXYGEN MEDIA TO AIR TELEVISION PREMIERE OF "DATELINE NBC PRESENTS: CONVICTION" FOLLOWING THE CONTROVERSIAL CASE OF RICHARD ROSARIO ON SUNDAY JUNE 19
New York, NY - June 7, 2016 - Oxygen Media will air the television premiere of the two-hour documentary special from NBC News, "Dateline NBC Presents: Conviction," on Sunday, June 19 at 10:00 PM ET/PT as part of its weekend Crime Time programming block. Originally an 11 part digital documentary series from "Dateline NBC" producer Dan Slepian, the special chronicles the case of New York State inmate Richard Rosario, who was convicted of a 1996 murder in New York City. Rosario has always maintained his innocence, and 13 alibi witnesses have all confirmed he was a thousand miles away in Florida when the crime took place. After taking an interest in the case, Slepian reported and filmed for over two years as his investigation unfolded. Over this two-year period, Dateline NBC interviewed most of Rosario's alibi witnesses.
