GENA MCCARTHY ELEVATED TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT HEAD OF PROGRAMMING AND DEVELOPMENT FYI(TM) NETWORK, A+E NETWORKS(R)

NEW YORK, NY - July 13, 2016 - Creative exec Gena McCarthy has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Programming and Development for FYI, it was announced today by Paul Greenberg, General Manager of FYI and 45th and Dean, A+E Networks(R) to whom McCarthy reports.

Going forward, McCarthy will continue to oversee all programming and development for FYI to create best-in-class, multi-platform programming. She will also work closely with other A+E Networks' brands to identify content that might work well across the portfolio.

Previously, McCarthy was Senior Vice President, Programming & Development, FYI, a role she has held since 2013. "During Gena's impressive tenure at FYI, she has worked tirelessly and overseen the development and success of multiple hit shows and formats that have made FYI one of the most upscale cable networks in the industry and one of the most successful new cable networks in years," said Greenberg. "Additionally, the content has not only been a huge hit with consumers, but it is also extremely popular with the advertising community; Gena has helped solidify many important branded integrations with companies such as Home Depot, Wayfair, Zillow and others. This is an extremely well-deserved next step for Gena and I am thrilled she is taking on this elevated role."
