Fast N' Loud special to kick off new season on Monday, August 29 at 9PM ET/PT followed by season premiere Monday, September 5 at 8 PM ET/PT on the Discovery Channel
(LOS ANGELES) - Get ready Motor Monday Fans! Motor icons Richard Rawlings, Aaron Kaufman and the entire Gas Monkey Garage crew return with new builds and new episodes of FAST N' LOUD on Monday, August 29 at 9pm ET/PT on Discovery.
Richard Rawlings, the mastermind behind Gas Monkey Garage, and Aaron Kaufman, the mechanical prodigy who brings former hot rods and classic cars back to life, travel from the back roads of Rawlings' native Texas to surrounding states and beyond, scouring barns, backyards, swap meets and open fields in search of rare rides. Once Richard wheels and deals for the best price, the real work begins back at the garage where Aaron and the crew return abandoned and neglected cars to their former glory.
The new season of FAST N' LOUD kicks off with a one-hour special on Monday, August 29 at 9pm ET/PT, when Richard and Aaron hit the beach for a much needed break, and finally get the chance to respond to questions and comments submitted by fans. With nothing off limits, questions range from "What are Richard and Aaron's favorite builds?" to "What product does Richard use in his hair?" and "What does Aaron look like without his beard?"
While soaking up the sand and sun, the Gas Monkey guys relive some of their proudest moments in garage history, reminisce about fan-favorite builds, recall some of their greatest misfires and reveal a build that was such an epic failure it never even made it to air.
Then, on Monday, September 5 the season premiere airs at a special time of 8pm ET/PT and begins with Aaron restoring a vintage Harley Davidson in celebration of Discovery's HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS, a three-night original, scripted mini-series, which debuts after FAST N' LOUD at 9pm ET/PT.
The rest of the season is jam-packed with adrenaline-fueled fun. Between a visit from iconic car builder Chip Foose, a trip to Nascar with the Miller Lite team, a Porsche vs. Porsche race and a venture into the business of Monster Trucks - the Gas Monkey Garage has its work cut out for it. The season also includes some of the best builds the crew has ever done, including a'72 Pantera, a '00 Porsche hot-rodded with a Chevy engine, and a classic '49 pickup, which turns out to be the ultimate curse for the team, as they attempt to restore it to show truck perfection.
