COMEDY CENTRAL(R) GREENLIGHTS "PROBLEMATIC WITH MOSHE KASHER"

Executive Produced by Moshe Kasher, Serious Business' Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis as well as Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman of 3 Arts Entertainment

Weekly Series Set to Premiere in 2017

NEW YORK, September 21, 2016 - Comedian Moshe Kasher invites viewers to log off and bring their online outrage into the studio for a raucous discussion of today's most polarizing topics as Comedy Central has greenlit "Problematic with Moshe Kasher," it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. The weekly series, set to premiere in 2017, is executive produced by Kasher, Serious Business' Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis ("@midnight with Chris Hardwick"), as well as Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman of 3 Arts Entertainment.

"I see myself as the Phil Donahue of the Internet Age except not as funny or dialed into millennial culture," said Kasher. "This show will create a safe space for offensive comedy and more importantly engender conversations that will completely end all acrimony, racism, sexism, trolling and whatever else you find offensive online once and for all. I promise."

"We're gratified to know we will be living in a utopian society by season three," added Alterman.

"Problematic with Moshe Kasher" will crawl into the social media muck and put out flame wars and raise provocative questions with the help of experts, comedians, and the studio audience. Monika Zielinska and Tara Schuster are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Named one of Variety's 10 Comics To Watch, Kasher is native to Comedy Central as he's a co-executive producer on "Another Period," where he is also a cast member as well as making frequent appearances on "@midnight with Chris Hardwick," "Not Safe with Nikki Glaser," "This Is Not Happening," "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," and "Drunk History." He also appeared on the series "Portlandia," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "The League," "Shameless," "Maron," "Garfunkel and Oates" and "The New Normal." A versed writer, Kasher has written on several films, series and specials including, "Wet Hot American Summer," "Zoolander 2," "Another Period" and "The Comedy Central Roasts." He co-hosted the popular podcast "The Champs" and is the host of "The Hound Tall Discussion Series" on the Nerdist Network. In 2012, he released his first one-hour special, "Moshe Kasher: Live in Oakland" and his critically acclaimed memoir, "Kasher in the Rye."
