YOUTUBE RED ORDERS SCI-FI THRILLER SERIES FROM SEVEN BUCKS PRODUCTIONS AND STUDIO71

Corridor Digital to Direct

Los Angeles, CA - October 17, 2016 - YouTube today announced it has ordered a new series from Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, and Studio71, the digital entertainment company and multichannel network of ProSiebenSat.1. The eight-episode sci-fi action thriller will be directed by Corridor Digital's Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer, two of the Internet's most ambitious science fiction and action filmmakers. The series will debut on YouTube Red in 2017.

Set in the not-too-distant future, the half hour series, tentatively named Lifeline, is about a little known life insurance company that sends its agents forward 33 days in time to prevent the accidental deaths of its clients. The company's best man, Charlie Hooks, has never missed a save - until one case changes his life forever.

"This series makes good on our commitment to tap into the biggest and brightest emerging creators on YouTube," said Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Original Content, YouTube. "He is a global super star, and while you may not think of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as a big YouTube star, he has certainly become one in a few short months. We are thrilled to have him driving this very ambitious series forward."

"We're taking our YouTube partnership to the next level with Lifeline," said Johnson. "YouTube has given me the opportunity to connect with my fans on a very direct level, and now we're teaming up with the most innovative creators in the game to bring our special brand of action adventure to the audience."

"This series shows that anyone can be extraordinary and a superhero in their own right, which is why we're thrilled about this project," said Dany Garcia, co-founder of Seven Bucks Productions. "This project will disrupt the action genre on YouTube in a huge way."

"This series is the perfect collaboration between Seven Bucks Productions and Dwayne Johnson, a global super star synonymous with action, and Corridor Digital, who pushes the action envelope as far as it can go online," said Dan Weinstein, President, Studio71. "Studio71 is privileged to work with both Johnson and Corridor Digital and we look forward to what their combined efforts will deliver for the audience."

Lifeline was written by Ben Freiburger and Grant Wheeler. Executive Producers are Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Hiram Garcia for Seven Bucks Productions and Dan Weinstein, Gary Binkow and Amee Dolleman for Studio71.
