NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM: INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S ALL-NEW SERIES "DEAD SILENT" PREMIERES TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25 AT 9/8C

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Deep in the woods, inside an abandoned house, or along the shores of a sleepy lake, every snap of a twig and unidentified rustle can be a sign of danger. Investigation Discovery's (ID) all-new series DEAD SILENT shows just how dark and desolate the great outdoors can be when no one can reach you. In the six-part series premiering Tuesday, October 25 at 9/8c, myth, urban legend, and horror movie dread collide to showcase real-life, dark and twisted tales too frightening to be imaginary.

Each hour-long episode of DEAD SILENT features one spine-tingling and terrifying true story, interwoven with expert commentary from local authorities, true-crime experts, and psychologists, as well as first-person accounts from many of the victims who survived these nightmarish events.

In the premiere episode titled "The Curse of Dismal Creek," 33-year-old Sean Farmer is on his way to meet his friend Scott Johnston at a campsite deep in the woods of Virginia. With plans to fish along the remote banks of Dismal Creek, the friends are unaware of the dark past that haunts these surroundings. In 1981, two young hikers were murdered by a stranger they met along the nearby Appalachian Trail. Decades later, as Sean starts to set up camp near that same spot, a mysterious man appears... is the tragic history of Dismal Creek doomed to repeat itself? Or can Sean find the will to survive?

Additional episodes of DEAD SILENT are as follows:

Welcome to the Devil House premieres Tuesday, November 1 at 9/8c

In Summerville, GA, 18-year-old Teresa Hudgens is on a first date with her classmate, fellow 18-year-old Joey Wells. When their plans abruptly change, the couple joins a group of locals heading to the mysterious Corpsewood Manor. Everyone in this rural part of Georgia seems to have heard rumors about Corpsewood Manor - a secluded mansion said to be the home of devil worshippers. But no one knows the whole story ... until December 12, 1982, when an evening visit by Teresa and her companions turns into a horrifying nightmare.

The Stranger on the Hill premieres Tuesday, November 8 at 9/8c

As college sweethearts Ashley Freeman and Mike Grinnan begin their summer vacations, both of their futures are as wide open as the Texas plains. But when the couple goes off-roading on a secluded hill outside of Dallas, a romantic evening swiftly turns into a night of terror. Trapped in the darkness with no hope of rescue, Ashley and Mike fight back against a brutal attacker in a desperate bid to survive.

Madness on the Lake premieres Tuesday, November 15 at 9/8c

Bayview, Idaho is a remote and breathtakingly beautiful lakeside community, an oasis for vacationers to get away for some much needed R&R. For locals like Yvonne Wallis and her family, the quaintness is cozy and peaceful. For others like Larry Cragun, it's a little too quiet. As winter approaches and tourist season comes to an end, the isolation plays with Larry Cragun's mind. Can the Craguns survive his senseless wrath?

A Killer in the Swamp premieres Tuesday, November 22 at 9/8c

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, 24-year-old Alicia Eakins has dealt with more than her fair share of tough times. She hopes a move to St. Augustine, Florida will offer the fresh start in life she needs. Alicia soon meets a local charmer named RJ Faba, and there's an immediate spark. She moves into his remote home deep in the Ocala National Forest but what first appears to be a remote paradise begins to show its true colors. Will Alicia be able to navigate the dangers that lurk in the marshes?

The Desert Drifter premieres Tuesday, November 29 at 9/8c

For 19-year-old Will Kleier and his best friends, 20-year-olds Jon Perez and Keyton Cornelius, visiting the family ranch at Indian Creek is all about hiking, hunting and enjoying the California high desert - as long as they're back before sundown. But their fun journey in to the desert intersects with an armed and dangerous drifter. With no cell phone service or neighbors for miles, Will and his friends are left alone to face a madman.
