CBS TO PREMIERE THE NEW PRIME TIME COMPETITION SERIES "HUNTED" IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, ON SUNDAY, JAN. 22, 2017

"Hunted" Moves to Its Regular Wednesday 8:00 PM Time Period Jan. 25, 2017

CBS today announced the new prime time competition series HUNTED will premiere immediately following one of television's biggest events, the NFL's AFC Championship game, on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/7:00-8:00 PM, PT - time is approximate after post-game coverage). HUNTED challenges ordinary people to go on the run as fugitives and evade capture by an elite team of investigators pursuing them. The series moves to Wednesdays on Jan. 25, 2017, with a special two-hour episode, 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT. In subsequent weeks, it will air 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT.

HUNTED follows nine teams of two in a real-life manhunt as they attempt the nearly impossible task of disappearing in today's vast digital world, as highly skilled investigators combine state-of-the-art tracking methods with traditional tactics to pursue and catch them. From searching their targets' homes and scouring their internet and cell phone histories, to identifying behavioral patterns, Hunters in the field and Command Center investigators work together to identify clues to potential hiding places and collaborators that can ultimately lead to capture. Will the anxiety of being fugitives on the run cause teams to make a critical error, or will they be able to stay off the grid long enough to avoid being found within 100,000 square miles of the southeastern United States? A grand prize of $250,000 will be awarded to each team that successfully evades being caught for up to 28 days.

Information about the Fugitive teams and Command Center personnel will be announced shortly.

HUNTED is produced by Endemol Shine North America. Laura Fuest Silva, Brian Catalina, Eden Gaha, Rob Smith and Robin Feinberg are executive producers. The series is based on the format of the UK show, now in its second season, which was created and produced by Shine TV Ltd.
