ATYPICAL (Netflix) - Raúl Castillo ("Looking") is the latest addition to the upcoming comedy about an 18-year-old (Keir Gilchrist) on the autism spectrum and his family. He'll recur as Nick, "a handsome, free-spirited bartender who meets Jennifer Jason Leigh's Elsa." (Variety.com)
DESIGNATED SURVIVOR (ABC) - Jeff Melvoin ("Army Wives") has been tapped as the latest showrunner of the freshman drama, succeeding Jon Harmon Feldman, who in turn took over from original showrunner Amy B. Harris. (THR.com)
