MARCH MADNESS COMES TO LIFETIME WITH NEW DOCUSERIES "BRINGING UP BALLERS," FEATURING BASKETBALL MOMS AND THEIR MVPS-IN-TRAINING, PREMIERING MARCH 1

January 31, 2017 (New York) - No air balls are allowed in Lifetime's new series, Bringing Up Ballers, premiering Wednesday March 1 at 10pm ET/PT. Featuring five Chicago-area entrepreneurs whose kids are some of the country's most elite young basketball players, the six-episode series follows these feisty moms who will stop at nothing to ensure that their businesses are successful and their boys are on track to make it to the NBA. These ladies are anything but benchwarmers as they balance their households and businesses, while managing their sons' daily practices and games. Together they are the ultimate Hoop Moms and are not afraid to call foul on each other as they fight to ensure their kids make it to the top.

Bringing Up Ballers moms and kids featured are:

· Johanna (@johannaleia) is a former Ford model who now runs a successful youth basketball camp. Her son Amari is only 12, but he is already playing up against 15 and 16-year-olds.

· Nikki (@shenikkib) is always the loudest mom in the gym. She's a real estate broker and owner of a basketball apparel line. Her 14 -year-old son Nimari has been a nationally ranked player since the 5th grade.

· Peytyn (PeytynWillborn) is a self-proclaimed alpha of all the women, owning several businesses including Chicago's only black-owned Italian restaurant. Her son George, 18, is about to graduate high school and is fielding college offers from all over the country. But if Peytyn has her way, her baby will stay close to home.

· Tiffany (@basketballmom_o) is a baller mom from the suburbs who runs a successful custom auto repair business. Tiffany has five kids but admits to devoting much of her time to 15-year-old Michael who she believes has a real shot of going to the NBA.

· Heather (@heather.b.williams) is salon owner whose ex-husband, Aaron Williams, played in the NBA for 15 years. Aaron spends as much time as he can coaching daughters Danyelle and Cameron, and 12-year old Aaron Jr., who all attend elite Chicago schools and play on several basketball teams.

Bringing Up Ballers is produced by Eastern and Domino Effect. Toby Barraud, Stefan Springman, Mala Chapple, Carmen Mitcho, Rob Cornick, Marcus Small and Murepha Small are executive producers. Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan executive produce for Lifetime.
