2017 RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARDS TO BE SPONSORED BY AMERICAN GIRL(R), AQUABEADS(R), CHRYSLER, COMCAST'S XFINITY, FLAVOR BLASTED(R) GOLDFISH(R) CRACKERS, KRAFT(R) MACARONI AND CHEESE SHAPES AND THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS

Disney Media Sales and Marketing, with a proven record of reaching and engaging kids and families together through sponsorships that go well beyond traditional ad sales programs, has set new and returning clients from the automotive, retail, food and telecommunications categories for the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), now in its fifth year. The uniquely positioned event, with wide reach across multiple media channels, will be sponsored by American Girl(R), Aquabeads(R), Chrysler, Comcast's Xfinity, Flavor Blasted(R) Goldfish(R) crackers, KRAFT(R) Macaroni and Cheese Shapes and The Walt Disney Studios.

The 2016 RDMA telecast reached over 11.4 million Total Viewers and billions of social media impressions, with nearly one-third of Kids 2-17 co-viewing with an adult.

Rita Ferro, president, Advertising Sales, Disney|ABC said, "We view the RDMA as an opportunity to connect with, and be relevant to, the lives of today's families who are watching via multiple screens, who want information about the goods and services available to them and who make many purchasing decisions together, with both parents and kids. Our customized sponsorship program offers our clients an opportunity to expand how they're each connecting to and meeting the needs of our loyal and targeted base of viewers."

Sponsorship of this year's event telecast is designed to reach and engage an increasing amount of RDMA viewers, kids and families who simultaneously use linear television, digital, mobile and social media. Disney Media Sales and Marketing has built the RDMA sponsorship programs with new elements including customized in-show integrations, access to exclusive artist interviews from behind the scenes at the event and social, mobile and digital content originating from the red carpet star arrivals.

Featuring performances by some of the biggest artists, the RDMA event takes place SATURDAY, APRIL 29, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles; and a special two-hour telecast, "Disney Channel Presents the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards," will be presented SUNDAY, APRIL 30 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on multiple Disney-branded platforms with highlights also on Radio Disney, the Radio Disney App, Disney Channel App and Disney.com/RDMA.

Hosting the show are Grammy Award nominee Kelsea Ballerini, Broadway's "Hamilton" star and Hollywood Records recording artist Jordan Fisher, Disney's "Descendants" star and Hollywood Records/Republic Records recording artist Sofia Carson, Interscope Records recording artist and Radio Disney host Alex Aiono and Disney Channel star Jenna Ortega ("Stuck in the Middle").
