BROTHERED UP (CBS) - Comedian D.L. Hughley has signed onto the multi-camera comedy pilot, about an emotionally guarded African-American cop who is partnered with an emotionally available Pakistani cop (Adhir Kalyan) and they are forced to find a way to connect as they patrol a Detroit neighborhood. He'll play the former role, Calvin, replacing the originally cast Romany Malco. Said change was made after the table read last week. (Deadline.com)
DIRK GENTLY'S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY (BBC America) - Tyler Labine is bound for the show's second season as Sherlock Hobbs, "an under-stimulated but overly enthusiastic small-town sheriff who is eager to help Dirk and crew solve the Season 2 mystery." (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Gus Halper has been cast as Erik Menendez in the anthology's inaugural installment, which will focus on Lyle and Erik Menendez, brothers who were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Edie Falco also stars as Leslie Abramson. (TVLine.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Lonnie Chavis has been tapped as Marcus, "a young alien boy who bonds with James (Mehcad Brooks) after the rugrat's mother attacks National City," on the May 8 episode. (TVLine.com)
WALKING DEAD, THE (AMC) - Pollyanna McIntosh's Jadis, Steven Ogg's Simon and Katelyn Nacon's Enid will all be promoted to series regulars for the upcoming eighth season of the veteran drama. (Deadline.com)
