NEW YORK, April 24, 2017 - The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is coming off of its most-watched and highest-rated quarter since Trevor Noah took over as host. But there's one state that couldn't care less... Alabama. According to a post-election study by The New York Times, no state liked The Daily Show less than conservative Alabama. To understand why, The Daily Show sent The Best F#@king News Team to "The Heart of Dixie." "Alabama Week" on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah begins tonight at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
"Alabama Week" will feature nightly segments shot on location in cities and towns across the state including Selma, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery covering topics including history religion, politics and the great outdoors. Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, Hasan Minhaj and Alabama-native Roy Wood Jr. report.
Trevor Noah, Steve Bodow, Jen Flanz and Jill Katz are the Executive Producers of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah with Ian Berger, Pam DePace, Ramin Hedayati, Justin Melkmann and Elise Terrell as Supervising Producers. Zhubin Parang is the Head Writer with Daniel Radosh as Senior Writer. The series is directed by Chuck O'Neil. Sarah Babineau is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
