CONSUMED (AMC, New!) - David Cronenberg's novel - "a mind-bending psychological thriller that follows two journalists who set out to solve the cannibalistic murder of a controversial Parisian philosopher" - is being developed for the small screen by Dave Erickson and Sheri Elwood for AMC Studios. Cronenberg will also executive produce the hour alongside Serendipity Point's Robert Lantos and may potentially direct. (Deadline.com)
ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA (Showtime) - Eric Lange has been cast as Lyle Mitchell, Tilly Mitchell's (Patricia Arquette) husband, in the docudrama. (Deadline.com)
HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (ABC) - Jimmy Smits has been tapped for a season-long recurring role as "a prominent figure in Annalise's (Viola Davis) life and will have a key role in this season's mystery." (Deadline.com)
