CLOSURE (NBC, New!) - Josh Berman ("Drop Dead Diva") has booked a put pilot commitment from the Peacock for a new drama based on the inspiring story of Serena Nunn, who at 19 was "sentenced to 15 years for conspiracy to distribute drugs, despite her being a star student and her negligible role in the crime as the girlfriend of a drug dealer." Nunn, whose sentence was commuted after 11 years, went on to earn college and law school degrees, ultimately becoming a lawyer following a pardon by President Obama last year. Osprey Productions' Berman and Chris King will executive produce alongside Get Lifted Film Co. principals John Legend, Mike Jackson and Thais Stiklorius for Sony Pictures Television. Nunn and Sam Sheldon, who filed a petition for a presidential commutation on her behalf, are executive consultants. (Deadline.com)
GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - A.J. Michalka's Lainey won't return as a series regular on the upcoming fifth season of the comedy. (TVLine.com)
LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Anna Osceola has been cast in "The Menendez Murders" as Noelle Terlesky, "a blonde coed that Erik Menendez met in Lake Tahoe four months after the murders. He feels very close to her and believes that she gets him. She remains supportive of him even after he confesses to the murders." (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (NBC) - Annabeth Gish is bound for an upcoming episode as "a defense attorney." (TVLine.com)
OATH, THE (Crackle) - J. Anthony Pena will recur on the upcoming drama as Carl, "a medically retired police officer and Raven. He opened a bar and lets the Ravens set up shop in the back room to keep it afloat. He is fiercely loyal to his cop patrons, Tom Hammond in particular." (Deadline.com)
ONCE UPON A TIME (ABC) - Robin Givens will guest on the series as Eudora, "a loving mother to Tiana (Mekia Cox) and benevolent noblewoman. Formerly wealthy, now facing financial disaster, she handles the transition with grace and inner moral strength." (EW.com)
SEAL TEAM (CBS) - Judd Lormand has been cast in the newcomer as Lt. Commander Eric Blackburn. No other specifics were given. (Variety.com)
