A+E's In-house Digital Agency 45th & Dean Produces Series
New York, NY - September 7, 2017 - A+E Networks(R) launched its first Facebook show, "Bae or Bail" last week and it currently has over 24 million views to date. Engagement has also been extraordinary, with over 230k shares and more than 35k comments. A+E Networks' digital agency 45th & Dean produces "Bae or Bail" as well as the upcoming new series, "This Is How We Do It," exclusively for Facebook's Watch, Facebook's new video platform for shows.
A new episode of "Bae or Bail" will premiere every Wednesday and the new Watch series "This Is How We Do It" will premiere in October. Visit www.facebook.com/BaeOrBail to view episodes of "Bae or Bail."
"After launching just a year ago, 45th & Dean, our in-house storytelling digital hub, is at it again, creating engaging and exciting original content under the direction of Paul Greenberg, EVP, 45th & Dean. Our two new series produced exclusively for Watch are strong examples of our promise to deliver a fresh take on short-form," said Sean Cohan, President, International & Digital Media, A+E Networks. "Facebook is the perfect home for these shows and we're excited to contribute to the Watch ecosystem."
"Bae or Bail" features couples ready to test their partners' dependability as they're thrown into terrifying scenarios. Your boyfriend never hesitates to take care of the occasional spider, but will he step up to the plate and save you from an entire room full of spiders? Using hidden cameras, we'll capture the shocking, over the top, and hysterical reactions in each 3-6 minute episode. The first episode of "Bae or Bail" premiered on Watch on Wednesday, August 30 and followed two couples as one of their partners pranked them at a pre-staged funeral.
"This is How We Do It" puts sassy Grandma's and their 20-something year old grandkids together to chat about sex. No topic is too taboo for these duos as they share and compare some of the most intimate details of their personal life. Not only will they talk about how love and sex has changed throughout their generations, they'll also give each other advice on dating, relationships, and much more in each 3-6 minute episode.
A+E sites and apps have seen an impressive increase in short-form video viewership and a steady slate of engaging and original content. "Chloe Does It!," the new short-form series based on the hit Lifetime franchise "Dance Moms," produced by 45th & Dean exclusively for YouTube, has generated 4.6 million total views across YouTube and Facebook to date. 45th & Dean has also seen great success with "Second Chance," its first original series for Snapchat which averaged 8 million viewers per episode.
