#FASHIONVICTIM (E!) - Gina Gershon, Laura Dale, Camrus Johnson, D.J. Blickenstaff, Matt Long and André Leon Talley have all been cast in the drama pilot, about Anya St. Clair (Willa Fitzgerald), "an angelic squirrel of a girl who works tirelessly as an associate editor of popular VIE Magazine and is the right-hand to its editor in chief, the great Celia Avery (Gershon)." Dale will portray Sarah Taft, "an associate editor at the magazine and Anya's frenemy"; with Johnson as Randy, "Anya's neighbor whose friendly gestures throw her for a loop"; Blickenstaff as Fred Murdoch, "an associate editor at the magazine and one of Anya's best friends"; Long as Detective Stephen Hopper, "who meets Anya during his investigation into the murder of a young woman"; and Talley as Baptisto, "a forgotten legend of the fashion industry; once an icon, he now floats through industry events." CHICAGO PD (NBC) - Mekhi Phifer and Jesse Garcia will both drop by the show's January 17 episode as Joe Baker, "a reformed gang banger who served time and is still battling the ghosts of his past, which makes him neither forgiving nor forgetting"; and Reimundo Morales, "a street-smart hardcore coke dealer," respectively. GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - Actress Melissa Joan Hart will direct an upcoming episode of the veteran comedy, titled "Hail Barry." (TVLine.com)
HOUSE OF CARDS (Netflix) - The streaming service has confirmed the series will resume production next year on its final season of eight episodes without Kevin Spacey. (Deadline.com)
LAST MAN ON EARTH, THE (FOX) - Leighton Meester will guest on the current season as part of "the upcoming arc centered on new recurring cast member Fred Armisen, whose character was first introduced at the end of Sunday's fall finale." (TVLine.com)
THINK AARON (HBO, New!) - Writer Andy Bellin and director Elliott Lester are spearheading a docudrama at the pay channel based on the life of Aaron Swartz, a "child prodigy and programming genius [who] becomes his generation's most important and influential "hacktivist," a political activist using his expertise in technology to fight for open and equal access to educational information on the Internet, only to find himself imprisoned and made an example of by the U.S. government." Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh's Tribeca Productions are also behind the project with Lester, Eric Roth and Debra Greenfield also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
