BREADWINNERS (FOX, New!) - Kyle Bornheimer is set to topline a new single-camera comedy for the network about "when an out of work dad (Bornheimer) decides to try and reinvent himself as a chef, he tumbles head first into the wild world of the current foodie revolution, dragging his family along with him." He'll also co-write the 20th Century Fox Television-based half-hour alongside Ben Sutor with Amy Slomovits and Brady McKay of Haven Entertainment and Trevor Engelson of Underground Films likewise executive producing. DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Netflix) - Lena Waithe will recur on the show's sophomore season as P Ninny, "a braggadocious MC who stars on a ridiculous Love & Hip Hop-like reality series called Trap-House Tricks." (EW.com)
DIETLAND (AMC) - Mya Taylor and Mark Tallman have both scored roles on the upcoming drama as Barbara, "a newly minted member of the transgender community who resides at Verena Baptist's Calliope House"; and Jake, "Verena Baptist's other husband, a Jewish cowboy with serious handyman skills who lives at Calliope House, the feminist collective started by Verena," respectively. ROSEANNE (ABC) - Estelle Parsons and Sandra Bernhard will reprise their roles of "Roseanne and Jackie's late-in-life-lesbian mom Beverly Harris" and "Roseanne and Jackie's lesbian pal Nancy Bartlett," respectively, on the upcoming revival series. (TVLine.com)
UNTITLED ANDERSON & HORNSBY PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Blake Anderson ("Workaholics") and David Hornsby ("How to Be a Gentleman") are set to team for a new single-camera comedy about "a high-strung father (Hornsby) must deal with a new family dynamic when his ex-wife marries a younger, free-spirited dude (Anderson) who becomes the stepdad to his children." Said duo will also write and executive produce the project for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
