BOJACK HORSEMAN (Netflix) - Debmar-Mercury has been tapped to sell the basic cable rights to the Netflix series, "believed to be the first such deal for an original Netflix series to get a second window on U.S. cable networks." (Deadline.com)
CHAMPIONS (NBC) - The Peacock has confirmed the midseason comedy will premiere Thursday, March 8 at 8:30/7:30c.
CHANCE (Hulu) - The streaming service has passed on a third season for the Hugh Laurie-led drama. (Deadline.com)
LA TO VEGAS (FOX) - The network has picked up three additional episodes of the midseason comedy, bringing its season total to 15. (THR.com)
LAST MAN ON EARTH, THE (FOX) - The network has revealed its spring premiere as Sunday, March 11 at 9:30/8:30c. The show's winter finale airs this Sunday.
MOM (CBS) - Kristin Chenoweth will drop by an upcoming episode as Miranda, who "met Jill (Jaime Pressly) at the latter's weight loss retreat, but the trouble starts when the two return home together. Unsurprisingly, her presence frustrates Christy (Anna Faris), Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy)." (TVInsider.com)
SHINING VALE (Showtime, New!) - Sharon Horgan and Jeff Astrof are set to team for a "horror-comedy about a dysfunctional family that moves from the city to a small town in a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for the mother - and the evil spirit that's trying to possess her." Warner Bros. Television is behind the project, which has a pilot production commitment. Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor; Merman Films' Horgan and Clelia Mountford; and Other Shoe Productions' Astrof are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BLUMHOUSE HORROR ANTHOLOGY PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - Blumhouse Television has booked a monthly horror anthology at the streaming service which "will deliver viewers 12 self-contained stories - a new episode premiering each month over one year." No writers or producers are yet attached to the project, due to roll out in October. The company's Jason Blum, Marci Wiseman and Jeremy Gold will presumably executive produce. (Variety.com)
VILLAGE, THE (NBC, New!) - Mike Daniels ("The Brave") has landed the Peacock's first pilot order for a new drama in which "the residents of a Manhattan apartment building find that the more their lives intertwine, the more complex and compelling their connections become, thus proving life's challenges are better faced alongside family, even if it's the one you make wherever you find it. All under one roof we will meet a recovering war vet, a pregnant teenage girl and her single mom, a cop with an unexpected love interest, a woman hiding a terrifying secret from her husband and a millennial lawyer who might find his grandfather is the best and worst roommate he ever could have hoped for." Universal Television, home to Daniels's overall deal, is producing. (Deadline.com)
