BLOCKBUSTER, July Hygreck's first feature, will premiere as a world exclusive on Netflix Available on January 24th
Paris, January 12th 2018 - Netflix, the world's leading Internet entertainment service, announced today that BLOCKBUSTER, July Hygreck's first film, starring Charlotte Gabris, Syrus Shahidi, Sylvain Quimene, Tom Hygreck, Fo�d Amara, Laura Boujenah, Amaury de Crayencour and Lionel Abelanski, with the participation of Michel Gondry, Manu Katché and Youssoupha. The film will premiere exclusively on the service on January 24th.
Jeremy and Lola decide to film their everyday life in the style of a diary. The reason behind it is that Jeremy's father has a cancer, and is bed ridden at the hospital. Through his son's videos, he can witness first hand the young couple's happiness, his own private favorite TV show.
But when Lola discovers that she has been a bet in a stupid game initiated by Jeremy, she leaves him, putting an end to the show. Jeremy will do everything it takes to win her back, going as far as forming a fake gang of superheroes kidnapping stars. The only ransom they're asking for: Lola.

BLOCKBUSTER is produced by Virginie Films and Rosebud Entertainment Pictures and world sales are done by Other Angle Pictures. The film will be available exclusively on Netflix from January 24th 2018.
