CRACKLE ACQUIRES NORTH AMERICAN DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS TO "OFFICE UPRISING"

Comedy-Horror Feature Starring Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Karan Soni, Zachary Levi and Alan Ritchson to Release in Summer 2018

Pasadena, CA, January 14, 2018 - Crackle, Sony Pictures Television Networks' free, ad-supported streaming network, today announced that it has acquired distribution rights in North America to the comedy-horror film, Office Uprising. The feature from Mind the GAP Productions and The Exchange, a production, financing and sales company, is currently in post-production and will release in Summer 2018.

Office Uprising follows the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been "weaponized" by a new energy drink designed for the military. He must then set off to rescue his one true love from an office building full of psychotic coworkers armed with tomorrow's deadliest tech.

The feature stars Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dean Men Tell No Tales), Jane Levy (Don't Breathe), Karan Soni (Deadpool), Zachary Levi (Tangled) and Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, "Blue Mountain State").

Office Uprising is helmed by Lin Oeding and written by Ian Shorr (Splinter) and Peter Gamble. Giulia Prenna, Sean Lydiard, Jim Steele, and Will Clevinger serve as the film's producers and Christopher J. Conover, Brenton Thwaites, David Boies, Stephanie Pinola, Brian O'Shea, Nat McCormick and Sean E. DeMott as executive producers.

About Mind the GAP Productions

A veteran of both studio development (300) and indie production, producer Giulia Prenna launched Mind the GAP Productions with Sean Stone's directorial debut Greystone Park, featuring Oliver Stone. Working with the writers on Office Uprising for 9 years until the right team came together, including Brenton Thwaites as Executive Producer and partnering with The Exchange, Mind the GAP is continuing to produce commercial film projects that offer strong roles for established actors, with an eye toward using global sales as a key component of financing.
