FAM/PANDAS IN NEW YORK (CBS) - Sitcom veteran Andy Ackerman will direct and executive produce both multi-camera comedy pilots for the Eye. (Deadline.com)
GENIUS (NGC) - Tracee Chimo and Sofia Doniants will both recur on the upcoming Antonio Banderas-led "Picasso" installment of the anthology series. The former will play Gertrude Stein, "an American art collector, who uses Matisse and Pablo's rivalry to create art for her own collection"; while the latter is set as Olga, "a ballerina and daughter of an aristocratic Russian General, one of Picasso's wives." (Deadline.com)
HERE COMES THE NEIGHBORHOOD (CBS) - 10-time Emmy winner James Burrows has signed on to direct and executive produce the multi-camera comedy pilot. (Deadline.com)
KEVIN CAN WAIT (CBS) - Ralph Macchio will drop by two upcoming episodes as "the president of a company buying a property in Long Island with the intention of turning it into a parking lot." (TVLine.com)
L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (CBS) - Michael Dinner ("Justified") is set to direct and executive produce the Eye's small screen take on James Ellroy's noir classic novel-turned-feature. (Deadline.com)
REL (FOX) - Gerry Cohen ("The Carmichael Show") will reunite with former co-star Lil Rel Howery as director of the multi-camera comedy pilot.
STRANGER THINGS (Netflix) - The show's third season of eight episodes is scheduled to being production in April. (TVLine.com)
WIDOW (Facebook Watch, New!) - Elizabeth Olsen is attached to star and executive produce a half-hour dramedy at the streaming service about "a young widow dealing with grief while reconnecting with relationships from her past." Kit Steinkellner penned the project, which has a 10-episode order, with showrunner Lizzy Weiss and director James Ponsoldt also on board to executive produce alongside Robin Schwartz, Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf of Big Beach TV; and Cynthia Pett, Brad Petrigala and Jon Liebman of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
