SHEDDING THEIR SKIN ON A NEW SEASON OF TLC'S "MY 600-LB LIFE: SKIN TIGHT"

- Third season premieres on Wednesday, March 7 at 10/9c, following new episodes of MY 600-LB LIFE -

(Silver Spring, MD) - The final stage of extreme weight loss has returned to TLC with the premiere of TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE: SKIN TIGHT on Wednesday, March 7 at 10/9c. In the dramatic new season, Dr. Nowzaradan returns with other top plastic surgeons across the country to work with subjects looking to undergo a full-body transformation through skin removal surgery. Each of the thirteen one-hour episodes of MY 600-LB LIFE: SKIN TIGHT will follow two to three individuals who have conquered their major weight loss goals but have been left hanging with loose skin all over their bodies. Viewers will once again be invited to join the transformative journey, with each episode culminating in powerful reveals and physical changes. Additionally, towards the end of the season, two one-hour "Where Are They Now" episodes will feature individuals from previous seasons and their progress since first appearing on the show.

Kicking off the season premiere, viewers will follow Stephanie, whose weight and depression skyrocketed after giving birth. Seeing her son fight through a heart defect, stroke and a life-saving surgery, she vowed to get herself healthy for her baby boy. Stephanie underwent weight loss surgery and dropped almost 200-lbs, determined to change her life for good. But before long, the weight and embarrassment of her excess skin kept her from working out, playing with her child and finding a lasting relationship. Beyond the need for her own surgery, Stephanie's mother Darcy also struggles with excess skin after going from 300-lbs to 160-lbs. Both now hope to have skin removal surgery to get their lives back.

The premiere episode will also feature B.J., who lived a life of drug-abuse and overeating. When things started getting out of control, B.J. turned to his faith and turned to a new chapter in his life by starting a family. However, after finding himself at 500-lbs, he thought he would never be able to give his children the life and the father that they deserved. He decided to make a change and set out to lose weight. Now at 150-lbs, he still can't completely be the father and husband he wants to be with the physical restrictions of his excess skin.
