LOS ANGELES, February 26, 2018 - As the lead-in to the highly anticipated premiere episode of Atlanta Robbin' Season, FX will present the world television premiere of the Academy(R) Award-nominated feature film Straight Outta Compton on Thursday, March 1 at 7 PM ET/PT. The film was rated R by the MPAA and is rated TVMA-LSV for FX and may not be appropriate for children under the age of 17.

Straight Outta Compton tells the true story of five young rebels from South Central Los Angeles who, armed with only their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent, stood up to the authorities attempting to keep them down. Following the rise of the world's most notorious group, Straight Outta Compton features breakout stars O'Shea Jackson Jr. (Ice Cube), Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre), Jason Mitchell (the late Eazy-E), Neil Brown, Jr. (DJ Yella) and Aldis Hodge (MC Ren) as members of N.W.A.

Immediately following the movie, after a 17-month hiatus, is the return of the Emmy(R), Golden Globe(R), AFI, Peabody, PGA, WGA, TCA, NAACP and Critics' Choice award-winning comedy series Atlanta, with its new installment, Atlanta Robbin' Season.

Atlanta Robbin' Season premieres on March 1 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX. In Atlanta Robbin' Season, two cousins work through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families. "Earn Marks" (Donald Glover) is a young manager trying to get his cousin's career off the ground. "Alfred Miles" (Brian Tyree Henry) is a new hot rapper trying to understand the line between real life and street life. "Darius" (Lakeith Lee Stanfield) is Alfred's right-hand man and visionary. "Van" (Zazie Beetz) is Earn's best friend and the mother of Earn's daughter. Donald Glover serves as Executive Producer, along with Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle and Stephen Glover. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions.
