Showtime(R) Becomes First Cable Network to Launch on LG Smart TVs

Stand-Alone Streaming Service And SHOWTIME ANYTIME(R) Apps Now Available

NEW YORK- March 28, 2018 - Showtime Networks Inc. has announced the launch of its stand-alone streaming service SHOWTIME and its authentication service SHOWTIME ANYTIME on LG Smart TVs. SHOWTIME is the first cable network to launch on LG webOS Smart TV platforms including on the recently debuted 2018 LG OLED TVs with AI ThinQ(R) and LG SUPER UHD TVs with AI ThinQ.

LG Smart TV users can now download the SHOWTIME streaming app by visiting the LG Content Store on their television. After signing up for a seven-day free-trial, new subscribers can enjoy the SHOWTIME service for $10.99 per month. The network also launched its authentication service app SHOWTIME ANYTIME on LG Smart TVs, available to SHOWTIME subscribers at no additional cost, through participating providers.

SHOWTIME subscribers on LG Smart TVs and SHOWTIME ANYTIME users will have unlimited on demand access to thousands of hours of programming, including entire seasons of award-winning original series HOMELAND, THE CHI, BILLIONS, RAY DONOVAN, SMILF, THE AFFAIR, SHAMELESS, TWIN PEAKS and I'M DYING UP HERE and the upcoming limited series PATRICK MELROSE. Subscribers will also have access to the live broadcast of the network's East and West Coast feeds, as well as box-office hits, comedy specials, provocative documentaries and hard-hitting sports programming.

The rollout on LG Smart TVs continues the network's offering of a seamless SHOWTIME experience across all connected devices and TV apps. Once consumers sign up for the SHOWTIME stand-alone streaming service or authenticate through SHOWTIME ANYTIME, they can watch across all supported devices no matter how they subscribe, including on phones, tablets and computers.
