TLC TEAMS UP WITH SNAP, INC. TO BRING ROYAL WEDDING TO SNAPCHATTERS IN THE U.S. WITH "INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING"

-- TLC Brings Its Singular Wedding Expertise to Snapchat's Only Royal Wedding Show --

New York, NY - TLC and Snap, Inc. announced today that TLC is expanding its coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's once-in-a-lifetime royal wedding with a special Snapchat series, INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING. The four-part series will air exclusively on Snapchat, with the first episode premiering today and subsequent episodes launching on May 17, May 18 and May 20. Previously aired episodes will be available using Snapchat's Search feature.

INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING will feature guests exclusive to TLC and hosts Hayley Paige, celebrity wedding dress designer and bridal fashion "It Girl," and Jonathan Van Ness, the groomer on Netflix's "Queer Eye," will dish on all things royal wedding, from fashion and history, to the guest list, location and everything in between.

In addition to providing Snapchatters with exclusive royal wedding coverage, TLC is giving TV viewers a front row seat to the royal event everyone has been waiting for. Beginning Friday, May 18, the day before the momentous occasion, the network will air back-to-back, must-see wedding programming, including three documentaries that delve into everything leading up to their big day - from each of their early lives to the wedding rules of royalty. The celebration continues Saturday, May 19 at 5:00 a.m. EST with TLC'S ROYAL WEDDING LIVE, a live four-hour feed of the royal wedding, followed by the premiere of TLC'S ROYAL WEDDING REVEALED later that night at 10/9c. The one-hour special, hosted by Shaun Robinson, will feature TLC wedding and style experts Randy Fenoli, Lori Allen, Monte Durham, George Kotsiopoulos and Hayley Paige as they capture all the details surrounding the ceremony, from the guests to the wedding party, Meghan's dress, the castle, and any last-minute bloopers.

Discovery, Inc. and Snap, Inc. first announced a partnership last year which involves Discovery producing mobile-first Shows for Snapchat's Discover platform. INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING is produced by Group Nine Studios (Group Nine Media's production division), in conjunction with TLC.
