IFC DEBUTS TWO NEW COMEDY CRIB DIGITAL SERIES IN TIME FOR SUMMER

Wedding Season and xPat Available to Stream Today on IFC.com

NEW YORK - June 4, 2018 - IFC today announced that two new original digital comedy series, Wedding Season and xPat, are now available to watch on the Comedy Crib (ifc.com/comedy-crib), the network's online hub for original, short-form comedy. The shows will join the Crib's current lineup of acclaimed web series including Neurotica, The Filling is Mutual and Frank & Lamar.

Created by and starring real-life couple Laura Willcox and Don Fanelli, Wedding Season follows a marriage-averse couple, Don and Laura, as they attempt to survive the longest wedding night of their lives. Produced by Spacestation and directed by Matthew C. Mills (MTV Unplugged), the series explores the all-too-familiar idiosyncrasies of the modern-day wedding. Willcox is an actress, writer and improviser in Los Angeles; in addition to regularly performing at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB), she currently writes for The Jim Jeffries Show on Comedy Central and has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, You're the Worst and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Willcox also wrote the satirical wedding guide book I Am Bride: How to Take the "We" Out of Wedding (and Other Useful Advice), released in 2017. Fanelli also hails from UCB and was a series regular on Pop TV's Nightcap opposite Ali Wentworth. He has appeared in shows such as 30 Rock, Inside Amy Schumer, Broad City and Late Show with David Letterman.

Created by and starring Monique Moses and produced by Above Average (Sound Advice, Backseat Bitches), xPat follows Canadian-born wanderlust expert and lifestyle blogger Patricia Taylor, who shares her musings on American ideals, politics and pop culture on her blog, all from the comfort of her own couch. Moses is a Brooklyn-based actor, improviser and choreographer who has studied with Second City Toronto and UCB. Originally from Canada, Moses has appeared in Broad City and has a recurring role on Funny Or Die's satirical podcast "Scienceology."
