Based on the Breakout True Crime Podcast, Series Hails from Universal Cable Productions, in association with Los Angeles Times Studios and Atlas Entertainment

Los Angeles, CA - July 11, 2018 - Julia Garner ("Ozark") and Juno Temple ("Vinyl," "Wonder Wheel," "Black Mass") have joined the cast of Bravo Media's "Dirty John" as the daughters of Debra Newell (Connie Britton), who are both skeptical about their mother's relationship with John Meehan (Eric Bana). Joining the previously announced Jean Smart who will play Debra's mother Arlane, Garner will star as Terra Newell, while Temple will star as Veronica Newell. The scripted anthology series, based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, tells the true story of how Debra's romance with the charismatic John Meehan spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation.

The series is produced by Universal Cable Productions (UCP), in association with Los Angeles Times Studios and Atlas Entertainment, and will be executive produced and written by Alexandra Cunningham ("Chance," "Desperate Housewives"). Richard Suckle and Charles Roven will serve as executive producers for Atlas Entertainment; Mark Herzog, Christopher G. Cowen and Chris Argentieri will serve as executive producers for Los Angeles Times Studios; Britton and Bana will also serve as executive producers.

This fall, Garner will also co-star in the Netflix series "Maniac" opposite Emma Stone, Justin Theroux and Jonah Hill. The series is written and directed by Cary Fukunaga. Other film credits include memorable performances in "We Are What We Are," "Electrick Children" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene. On the small screen, she has been praised for her work on FX's "The Americans," and was recently seen appearing in HBO's "GIRLS" and in Netflix's "The Get Down." She was also recently seen in The Paramount Network's six-part event series "WACO" opposite Michael Shannon and Taylor Kitsch.

Garner is represented by United Talent Agency, Anonymous Content and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.

Juno Temple will soon be reprising her role as "Thistlewit" in Disney's "Maleficent 2." A recipient of the 2013 BAFTA EE Rising Star Award, she starred opposite Kate Winslet in Woody Allen's "Wonder Wheel" and "Unsane," opposite Claire Foy for director Steven Soderbergh. She also appeared in "Black Mass" opposite Johnny Depp, and in coming-of-age dramedy "One Percent More Humid" opposite Julia Garner that premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival. She also starred in the HBO series "Vinyl." She recently wrapped shooting "Lost Transmissions" opposite Simon Pegg. Temple's other credits include "Far From The Madding Crowd," "Away," "Maleficent," "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For," "Horns," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Killer Joe," "Dirty Girl," "Little Birds," "Greenberg," Paul W. S. Anderson's Three Musketeers," among others. In 2013, Temple starred in three films which premiered to critical acclaim at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, "Afternoon Delight," "Magic Magic" and "Lovelace." She was also previously named one of BAFTA's Brits to Watch in 2011 and Variety's Ten Actors to Watch in 2010.

Temple is represented by Troika and UTA.
