EMPIRE (FOX) - Skylan Brooks and Meta Golding have both landed recurring roles on the drama as Quincy, "a young man wrongly incarcerated who develops a relationship with Andre (Trai Byers)"; and Teri, "the mother of wrongfully incarcerated Quincy (Brooks)," respectively. (Deadline.com)
FIX, THE (ABC) - Chasten Harmon and Vannessa Vasquez are both slated to recur on the midseason drama as Star, "daughter of Sevvy (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje)"; and Dia, a yet-to-be-revealed character. (Deadline.com)
GOOD TROUBLE (Freeform) - Noah Centineo will reprise his "The Fosters" role of Jesus on the upcoming spin-off series. (TVLine.com)
IZOMBIE (The CW) - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will guest on the show's final season as Zed, "one of the only two city council members who didn't flee the city before the wall went up. Since Zed's counterpart is a human, the wheels of government have ground to a halt, leaving Peyton to effectively run the city." (TVLine.com)
LEGACIES (The CW) - Karen David has been tapped for a season-long arc on the series as Emma Tig: "A beautiful witch-turned-guidance counselor, she is the moral support and shoulder to cry on for all the students at the Salvatore School, even if the person who needs her therapy the most (the headmaster) remains an elusive patient." (Deadline.com)
LIFE IN PIECES (CBS) - Joey King will drop by her real-life sister Hunter King's series as Morgan, "a pregnant 17-year-old who plans to place her baby with adoptive parents Matt (played by Thomas Sadoski) and Colleen (Angelique Cabral)." (TVLine.com)
LOSING EARTH (Apple, New!) - A potential series based on Nathaniel Rich's New York Times Magazine story, subtitled "The Decade We Almost Stopped Climate Change," is currently in development at the company. Anonymous Content is behind the project, which "tells story of a small group of American scientists, activists, and politicians who, between 1979 and 1989, tried to save the world from the ravages of climate change before it was too late." Steven Golin is among the executive producers. No writer is currently attached. (Deadline.com)
LUCIFER (Netflix) - Graham McTavish will recur on the revived season as Father Kinley: "A kind, deeply empathetic and revered priest, Father Kinley is profoundly committed to guarding his flock. That includes doing whatever it takes to keep mankind safe from evil - which doesn't bode well for a certain devil living in Los Angeles." (TVLine.com)
MODERN FAMILY (ABC) - Daniel Levy will guest on the veteran comedy as Jonah, "a courtroom sketch artist who draws Mitch and Cam in a very unflattering manner. When they confront him, we learn that Jonah's bitter about a past slight and is out for revenge." (TVLine.com)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Anthony Michael Hall has been cast as Principal Featherhead in the show's much-ballyhooed flashback episode. (@WriterRAS)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Bruce Boxleitner is bound for the new season as Vice President Baker, taking over from Brent Spiner, who "had to step down from the role due to family issues that conflicted with production." (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Jane Kaczmarek will visit the show's third season as Lois, "a liberal university professor and scientist who is described as intelligent, warm, and down-to-earth." (EW.com)
VERONICA MARS (Hulu) - The cult Kristen Bell-led drama is reportedly being eyed for an eight-episode limited series at the streaming service. The show originally aired from 2004-07 on UPN and The CW while a follow-up movie was released in 2014. (Deadline.com)
