OXYGEN MEDIA INKS OVERALL DEAL WITH HERO GOLDEN STATE KILLER DETECTIVE PAUL HOLES

DEAL COINCIDES WITH THE ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OXYGEN AS A FULLTIME TRUE CRIME DESTINATION

NEW YORK, NY - September 5, 2018 - Oxygen Media, the destination for high-quality crime programming, has signed an overall development deal with Paul Holes, the hero detective who helped bring the Golden State Killer to justice, it was announced today by Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen. The deal coincides with the one-year anniversary of Oxygen's rebrand to true crime in Summer 2017.

"Paul embodies what Oxygen is all about," said Aissa, "His story is of the highest stakes, a career journey with brilliant investigation work that resulted in justice for dozens of victims and their families. He's deservedly become a true crime icon among fans of the genre and we're excited to develop future projects with him."

"In speaking with Rod and his team, I felt the passion Oxygen has for storytelling and showcasing the very best in true crime content," said Holes, "I'm retired now, and am looking forward to this next chapter of my career where I can help shine a light on cases that deserve national exposure."

Investigator Paul Holes spent two and a half decades looking for one of the most elusive serial killers in US history, the Golden State Killer. After retiring from his position as Cold Case Investigator/Chief of Forensics for the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office in California, he continued to work on case until he helped bring Joseph James DeAngelo, the alleged Golden State Killer, to justice. Working with a team of investigators, Holes' use of cutting edge DNA technology proved crucial to closing in on DeAngelo. Holes was launched into the national spotlight and became an overnight hero in the crime and justice community.

After rebranding as a premium true crime destination last summer, Oxygen quickly became one of the fastest growing networks in cable behind acclaimed original hits such as "The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway," "Dahmer on Dahmer: A Serial Killer Speaks," "Aaron Hernandez Uncovered" and "Cold Justice" from Executive Producer Dick Wolf, which all set ratings records for the network. In its first year since the rebrand, Oxygen is up +17% among total viewers in total day versus the prior year. Behind the strength of its original programming, 1Q18 is Oxygen's most watched quarter in 7 years among total viewers in total day, and 2Q18 is Oxygen's most watched 2Q in six years in Total Day among total viewers.

Paul Holes is represented by UTA and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.
