CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Co-stars Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney have closed new two-year deals to continue on the firefighter drama. The actors' contracts were set to expire at the end of the current season. Christian Stolte, Joe Minoso, and Yuri Sardarov are likewise slated to return. (Deadline.com)
FOUNDATION (Apple TV+) - Josh Friedman is exiting the Isaac Asimov series adaptation as co-showrunner. Said report indicates the decision was amicable and he will remain an executive producer alongside David S. Goyer. (THR.com)
UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, THE (Amazon) - Joel Edgerton has signed onto Barry Jenkins's upcoming drama series as Ridgeway, "a slavecatcher. He joins previously announced cast members Thuso Mbedu, Chase W. Dillon, and Aaron Pierre." (Variety.com)
WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW, THE (Syndication) - Kevin Hunter, estranged husband of host Wendy Williams, has been fired as an executive producer of the series. (Deadline.com)
