Potter will play Maddie Townsend, "a low-key but resolute, warm and loving woman with a vocabulary like Southern poetry"; with Elliott as Dana Sue Sullivan, "everyone knows her as the strong-willed owner and head chef of Sullivan's Restaurant, a cherished spot in the town of Serenity"; and Headley as Helen Decatur, "a lawyer who has made it her goal to create an opportunity for the people of Serenity, her hometown." Additionally, Norman Buckley has been tapped as a co-executive producer and will direct six episodes. Dan Paulson, Sheryl J. Anderson and author Sherryl Woods are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED JOSH REIMS PROJECT (CBS) - Lance Krall's Picture It Productions has signed a two-year first-look deal with CBS Television Studios.
