BLACK MONDAY (Showtime) - Creator David Caspe has signed a four-year overall deal with Universal Television, ending his run at Sony Pictures Television. He'll develop new series projects for the studio but still continue as showrunner of the Showtime comedy's second season. (THR.com)
MAKING THE CUT (A.K.A. AMAZON FASHION PROJECT) (Amazon) - Naomi Campbell, Carine Roitfeld, Joseph Altuzarra and Nicole Richie have been named judges on the upcoming competition series from Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, newly monikered "Making the Cut." Said effort "will bring together 12 talented entrepreneurs and designers from around the globe who are competing to take their fledging brands to the next level in becoming the next big global phenomenon." Sara Rea, Page Feldman and Jennifer Love also serve as executive producers for SKR Productions. (Deadline.com)
MOODY CHRISTMAS, A (FOX) - The network has given a six-episode order to a domestic take on the Australian comedy series of the same name, which "follows Dan Moody as he returns home to spend Christmas with his dysfunctional family. When he arrives, he's met with the inevitable madness of a family whose members are all hiding things from each other." Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg and Tad Quill are behind the project, which was previously set up at the network in 2013 with original creators Phil Lloyd and Trent O'Donnell at the helm. The Tannenbaum Co.'s Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum remain as executive producers, as do Jungleboys' O'Donnell, Lloyd and Jason Burrows. Jason Wang co-executive produces. CBS Television Studios and FOX Entertainment are co-producing. (Deadline.com)
