AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE (ABC) - Kelly Ripa will reprise her role of Whitney, Katie Otto's (Katy Mixon) new boss, on the show's second episode this season. (Variety.com)
DARK SHADOWS: REINCARNATION (The CW, New!) - Mark B. Perry is developing a reboot of Dan Curtis's cult classic series billed as "a modern-day continuation of the strange, terrifying, and sexy saga of the Collins family of Collinsport, Maine - a mysterious, influential, publicity-shy group hiding a ghastly secret: For the past 400 years, they've lived under a curse that bedevils their blue blood with every imaginable supernatural creature and horror." Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour with Amasia Entertainment's Michael Helfant, Bradley Gallo and Tracy Mercer also executive producing alongside Tracy Curtis and Cathy Curtis. (Deadline.com)

FISH OUT OF WATER (Amazon, New!) - Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brad Paisley is attached to star in a potential comedy at the streaming service billed as "a 'Larry Sanders' take on celebrity vanity projects and a behind-the-scenes look at country music star Paisley's struggle to keep a simple little fishing show from turning into his own personal Frye Festival." A.D. Miles is penning the half-hour, which has a script commitment. Paisley, Will Arnett, Peter Principato, Marc Forman, Bill Simmons and Kendal Marcy will also executive produce for Artists First, Electric Avenue and Sony Pictures Television. (THR.com)
LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE (Hulu) - Obba Babatundé is the latest to be cast in the limited series as George Wright, "a devoutly religious father of two who does his best to support his strong-willed daughter Mia (Kerry Washington) as she heads off to art school.
