GOOD DISH, THE (Syndication, New!) - Sony Pictures Television is moving forward with its "The Dr. Oz Show" spin-off for a fall 2020 launch, with Daphne Oz, Vanessa Williams, Gail Simmons and Jamika Pessoa set as hosts. The project grew out of weekly cooking segments featured on the parent series. "It will provide simple shortcuts, everyday recipes and trends that will make life easier, bring families together, save money and most importantly... figure out what's for dinner." ZoCo Productions' Amy Chiaro and Stacy Rader will presumably executive produce alongside Mehmet Oz. (Deadline.com)
GREATEST EVENTS OF WWII IN COLOUR (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service has scored the rights to the 10-part documentary series, a follow up to the 2008-09 British series "World War II in Colour." "From the Blitzkrieg of Germany's tanks across Europe to the Battle of Britain; from the War in the Pacific to D-Day and the horrors of Hiroshima, this series documents the conflict in unflinching detail, once again bringing the greatest global struggle the world has ever known to a new generation in vivid color." World Media Rights and ZDF Enterprises are behind the project, due on November 8. Alan Griffiths and David McNab are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
LODGE 49 (AMC) - The cable channel has canceled the drama after two seasons. "We are so proud to have had Lodge 49 on our air," AMC said in a statement. "This wonderful show gave audiences fresh and unforgettable characters in a world that did not exist anywhere else on television. Thanks to the stellar cast including Wyatt Russell, Sonya Cassidy and Brent Jennings and to our partners in this unique labor of love, Jim Gavin, Peter Ocko and Paul Giamatti for two remarkable seasons that initiated the world into The Ancient and Benevolent Order of the Lynx." Producer AMC Studios plans to shop the project elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
MILLION LITTLE THINGS, A (ABC) - Sutton Foster will guest on the current season as Chloe, "the deceased fiancée of Jason Ritter's Eric." (TVLine.com)
POTTY TALK (Quibi, New!) - Fashion designer Alexander Wang is set to host a new celebrity talk series for the streaming service in which he "will be dishing it out with the biggest celebrities inside the restrooms of the most highly sought-after events in entertainment, fashion and pop culture." RadicalMedia's Frank Scherma and Jon Kamen and Shemarya Artists' Todd Shemarya and Josh Harrison are executive producing while Wang will receive a producer credit. (Deadline.com)
ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Annie Wersching will drop by the series as Rosalind Dyer, "a serial killer on death row who takes a special interest in Nathan Fillion's Officer John Nolan." (TVLine.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Lynn Chen and Idara Victor are both set to recur on the upcoming 10th season. Chen is set as Mimi, "an accidental new friend for V (Shanola Hampton) who introduces V to a lucrative new career." Victor then is Sarah, "who leads a mommy AA group and welcomes a struggling new dad Lip (Jeremy Allen White)." (Deadline.com)
TRAIL, THE (CBS, New!) - David Harrington Miller has set up a potential drama at the Eye about "an elite unit of investigators within the U.S. National Park Service who work to solve the highest-profile cases in Yosemite National Park, a location known for its rare beauty and extraordinary danger." CBS Television Studios-based WV Entertainment is behind the project with Wilmer Valderrama and David North executive producing, Jonathan Tucker and Kaitlin Saltzman as co-executive producers and Miller as a supervising producer. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GAME OF THRONES SPIN-OFF PROJECT (HBO) - The pay channel has nixed its Naomi Watts-led prequel series from George R.R. Martin, fellow writer Jane Goldman and director S.J. Clarkson. The news follows "a lengthy post-production, which included re-editing of the initial cut after it was not well received, and rumors about issues during filming in Northern Ireland." (Deadline.com)
WE THE JURY (CBS, New!) - Dana Klein and Stephanie Darrow have sold a single-camera comedy to the Eye about "a group of jurors are sequestered together until they all agree on a verdict... and they can't even agree on lunch." CBS Television Studios is behind the half-hour with Big Talk Productions' James Acaster and Kenton Allen also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
