MASTERMIND (Amazon, New!) - Krysty Wilson-Cairns has sold a small screen take on Evan Ratliff's book "The Mastermind: Drugs. Empire. Murder. Betrayal." to the streaming service, billed as "the true-life story of Paul Le Roux, an unassuming former programmer who built a sophisticated globe-spanning criminal empire - the sheer volume and diversity of which authorities had never before encountered - until he was taken down by his own lieutenant and the DEA and became one of the biggest criminal informants in DEA and FBI history." AGBO Films' Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca and Lindsay Dunn; Skybound Entertainment's Rick Jacobs; 26 Keys' Noah Hawley and Dan Seligman; and Sean Furst and Bryan Furst will also executive produce. (Deadline.com, 12/23)
UNTITLED EDDIE B PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Comedian Eddie B is set to star in a single-camera comedy for the Alphabet which "follows an outspoken, stubborn middle school football coach (Eddie B) who, due to budget cuts, finds himself forced to teach 8th grade science if he wants to keep his job." Richard Manus is penning the half-hour for ABC Studios with Cinema Gypsy Productions' Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland also executive producing. (Deadline.com, 12/26)

Ramy Youssef will executive produce for A24. No other details were given. (THR.com, 12/24)
WHEEL OF TIME, THE (Amazon) - Priyanka Bose, Taylor Napier and Emmanuel Imani have all scored roles on the Robert Jordan adaptation. Bose will play Alanna Mosvani, "a member of the same organization of powerful women as Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) - the Aes Sedai. She's renowned for both her kindness and her temper. And instead of having one Warder like Moiraine, she has two - Ihvon (Imani) and Maksim (Napier). The three of them have a complicated relationship built on love, sex and respect that welds them into a fearsome force in battle." (Deadline.com, 12/23)
