AMERICAN DAD/COSMOS/FAMILY GUY/THE ORVILLE (Various) - Executive producer Seth MacFarlane has reportedly signed a giant five-year, nine-figure overall deal with NBCUniversal Content Studios, ending his two decade run at 20th Century Fox Television. There he'll develop new series projects via his Fuzzy Door Productions banner. (Deadline.com)
ARRANGED (CBS, New!) - Farhan Arshad has sold a new comedy to the Eye about "the messy but ultimately hopeful relationship between Sabrina and Samir, two polar opposites, who get set up by their families after they have trouble finding true love on their own." Sutton Street Productions' Jennie Snyder Urman and Joanna Klein and The Nacelle Company's Michael Pelmont will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Original cast member Justin Chambers is exiting the series after 16 seasons. His character, Alex Karev, was last seen on the show's November 14 episode, one that "was likely his last episode on the show for the foreseeable future." (Deadline.com)
NIGHT SCHOOL (NBC, New!) - The Peacock has ordered a pilot for a multi-camera comedy based on the Kevin Hart-led feature of the same name, about "a unique mix of adults at a night school GED prep class who unexpectedly bond over their shared experience and find themselves helping each other both inside and outside of the classroom." Bicycle Path Productions' Christopher Moynihan penned the pilot for Universal Television with Hartbeat Productions' Kevin Hart; Will Packer Media's Will Packer and Sheila Duckworth; and Malcolm D. Lee, the feature's director, also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
NOBODY'S PRINCESS (Amazon) - The proposed musical series, which reimagines the stories of four classic fairy tale princesses for today's generation, has found a new home at the streaming service. Originally set up at The CW in November 2018, Nicole Delaney has since come aboard to pen the script alongside Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith are no longer actively attached due to their overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. They will remain as executive producers, as will Fulwell 73's James Corden, Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman and Jeff Grosvenor for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
OUTMATCHED (FOX) - Tony Danza will guest on the newcomer as Jason Biggs's "retired bulldozer of a father, up from Florida for a visit." (Deadline.com)
