BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Bob Odenkirk has launched a new production company, Cal-Gold Pictures, where he'll develop new series projects for Sony Pictures Television on a first-look basis. (Deadline.com)
BIG DUMMIE (Peacock, New!) - Rapper Jon Park (aka Dumbfoundead) is set to star in a potential comedy at the streaming service, set in Los Angeles' Koreatown, and centering on "a 30-year-old rapper, played by Park, who endures an early mid-life crisis as he loses relevancy in the rap world and falls out of touch with his family and friends." Lisa Parsons is penning the script and will executive produce alongside Park, Eric Christian Olsen and John Will for the CBS Television Studios-based Cloud Nine Productions. (Deadline.com)
BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Anthony Michael Hall has booked a recurring role on the series as Donald Ressler's (Diego Klattenhoff) estranged brother, Robby. Said character will appear in the show's April 24 and May 1 episodes, the latter alongside Mark Margolis. (ETOnline.com)
LEFT RIGHT GAME, THE (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Studios has scored the screen rights to QCode's mystery-sci-fi podcast, about "an idealistic journalist (Tessa Thompson) tries to make a name for herself by following a group of paranormal explorers, obsessed with a seemingly harmless pastime known as the Left/Right Game. The journey takes her into a supernatural world that she and the other members of the expedition cannot handle. Or survive." The show's creator Jack Anderson will pen the TV take and executive produce alongside Thompson, Automatik's Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger and Justin Levy, and QCode's Rob Herting and David Henning. MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD (ABC) - Enver Gjokaj will reprise his "Marvel's Agent Carter" role of Daniel Sousa during the show's upcoming final season. (EW.com)
MYST (New!) - Ashley Edward Miller is spearheading a new small screen take on the classic video game for Village Roadshow Entertainment Group. Rand Miller, Ryan Miller, Isaac Testerman and Yale Rice at Delve Media are also among the auspices. Previous incarnations were set up at Hulu in 2015 and the then Sci Fi Channel back in 2002. UNTITLED LAKERS PROJECT (HBO) - Executive producer Max Borenstein has inked a two-year overall deal with the pay channel. The pact covers his duties as showrunner on the upcoming 1980s-set Los Angeles Lakers drama as well as any future development. (THR.com)
