NETFLIX CONFIRMS CASTING FOR KOREAN HIGH SCHOOL ZOMBIE SERIES, "ALL OF US ARE DEAD"

SEOUL, July 2, 2020 - Netflix, the world's leading streaming entertainment service, has confirmed the casting of Yoon Chan-yeong, Park Ji-hu, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon and Yoo In-soo for All of Us Are Dead, an upcoming original series that follows a group of students trapped in a high school who find themselves in dire situations as they seek to be rescued from a zombie invasion of their school.

Yoon Chan-yeong will play Cheong-san, an ordinary student at Hyosan High School who tries to save On-jo, a girl he likes, from the rampant zombie virus. Yoon made a strong impression with his performance in the drama series Mama. Since then he has performed in a wide variety of shows, including Six Flying Dragons, Still 17 and Doctor John. He also starred in the films Birthday and The Fault is Not Yours.

Park Ji-hu will play the cheerful and down-to-earth On-jo, the most popular girl at Hyosan High School. Park has gained a following since her 2019 debut in House of Hummingbird, which won her the Best Actress in an International Narrative Feature Film Award at the 18th Tribeca Film Festival.

Cho Yi-hyun will play Nam-ra, the class president and the school's top-ranked student. Cho has shown exceptional acting skills through her performances in the 2019 film Metamorphosis and in the recent drama series Hospital Playlist.

Lomon will play Su-hyeok, a student who has recently decided to focus on his studies with the dreams of becoming a soldier. Park first gained attention through his performance in the drama Bleak Night. He also played the lead role in Lookism, a Chinese series based on a popular Korean webtoon.

Yoo In-soo will play Gwi-nam, a returning student who may be even more dangerous than the zombie invasion. Yoo debuted in the drama series Strong Girl Bong-soon and has built a filmography through several shows, including School 2017, Avengers Social Club, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, and Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter.

All of Us Are Dead, which is based on the highly popular webtoon Now at Our School, will be directed by Lee JQ (Beethoven Virus, The Legendary Police Woman, Intimate Strangers) and written by Chun Sung-il (The Slave Hunters, 7th Grade Civil Servant).

All of Us Are Dead, produced by Film Monster by JTBC Studio, will be available exclusively on Netflix.
